Re-Re-REPEAT:

Well we’re just three days out of our Barbells For Boobs and we couldn’t be more excited! Everyone’s done such amazing job fund raising and many have helped us get things rolling so thank you all! Lets work hard this week! The following is a tentative schedule for how the day will run on Saturday. Remember any and all can come!

 

9:00am-9;30am Meet and greet, buy some shirts, bands and treats, etc…

9:30am-11:30am Work outs will be going on during this time. We will have a heat begin every 15 minutes.

11:30am-12:00pm Super RX heats. We thought it’d be cool for some competitors to showcase some of their skills and strength. Depending how many we have who are interested we’ll either hit the WOD solo, jack up the weights or throw in some bar muscle ups to make things interesting!

12:00pm-12:30pm Beginners workout for those who don’t CrossFit or are brand new and want to try it out!

12:30pm-1:00pm Kids workout (as long as we have enough little ones)

1:00pm-2 or 3:00pm We’ll finish off everyone who hasn’t had a chance to workout yet

If we finish early or still have a lot of people here we thought it’d be fun to throw some weight around together. Everyone always does better with a loud, supportive crowd so maybe we’ll max some Oly lifts!

 

ALL OF THIS IS TENTATIVE. IF ALLS GOES AS PLANNED THIS IS HOW IT WILL RUN. WE MAY PUSH THE WHOLE SCHEDULE BACK 30 MINUTES IF THERE AREN’T A LOT OF PEOPLE HERE YET AT 9:30am. HERE ARE SOME ADDITIONAL NOTES:

1. You don’t have to workout. Anyone can but you’re not required too.

2. For those who are working out… there will be lists of heats on the board with 6-8 spaces next to each. You will need to sign up for the heat you want to go in and when its your time we’ll give you a minute or 2 to warm up and we’ll go!

3. There will be BBFB tee shirts, OSA apparel, baked goods and bracelets on sale the day of. The proceeds from which will go towards BBFB.

4. We will be accepting cash donations the day of, but will also accept CC as well (try to keep it as cash because running CCs takes time)

5. We will accept cash, check (made payable to Omni Strength Athletics, Gary Sorrentino or Cash) or credit cards. Shirts will be $20 so if you want to buy one and/or donate money please have your check ready if you’re paying that way!

6. Parking will be in the lot of course, but also the whole drive way. Park any where on the right side of the driveway and in the grass. There’s a gate at the top of the hill which will be designated as the EXIT.

STRENGTH: OHS
w/s – hit a heavy single within 5 sets (must drop from overhead when rep is completed)

STRENGTH: Front Squat
w/s – hit a heavy double within 4 sets

STRENGTH: Back Squat
w/s – hit a heavy triple within 3 sets
