KIDS & TEENS CLASSES HAVE A NEW STRUCTURE. THEY WILL RUN IN 8 WEEK INCREMENTS WITH REQUIRED SIGN UPS. EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS!

 

 Kids Program

WHAT:

The function of our CrossFit Kids program is to deliver a fitness that is broad, general and inclusive. It is specifically designed to prepare children and teenagers for sport and for life. We specialize in constant variety, functional fitness and of course FUN!!! While including scaled down versions of adult skill training and workouts, CrossFit Kids also focuses on fun to get kids excited about exercising.

WHO:

We will have 3 levels of classes. At first they will be divided by age group, but as we get to see the kids move and interact with others we may move them into a different group.CLASSES MUST HAVE A 3 PERSON MINIMUM, OTHERWISE CLASS IS CANCELED. To ensure parents don’t drive out for a canceled class we will have CLASS SIGN UPS (more information can be found below in the “Important Information For Parents” section). Classes are meant to be fun, and it wouldn’t be fun for your child if they were by themselves. Divisions as of now are:

 

Bears – 6-12 years old

  • Our Bears class is our Class for ages 6-12. School aged children and older children that are new to CrossFit can expect to learn and have fun in this 45 minute class. We will focus on Agility, Coordination, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Balance, Strength and Accuracy getting these kids ready for sport and life. If there is a concurrent adult class, the children of parents taking it will be supervised for the remainder of the hour.

 

Teens – 13-18 years old

  • Our Teens class is for ages 13 and up who are ready for Intermediate class. Although emphasis remains on technique and safety, teens who attend this class are ready to bring some intensity to their workouts. Classes are one hour. We also be offering a teen barbell class soon, that is invite only- for teens who have shown the ability and focus to dive deeper into strength training (there will be no additional cost for this).
